Understanding Workspace vs. Business Profiles

Stylacal introduces a two-tier hierarchy to solve the multi-brand operational challenge:

• The Workspace: The administrative and commercial root of your account. The Workspace holds your purchased license (Lifetime or Annual), payment billing details, aggregate domain allowances, and internal staff seats.
• Business Profiles: Independent client brands or practices created within your Workspace. Each Business Profile maintains its own branding (logo, accent colors), dedicated booking URL (e.g. book.formstudio.com), independent services catalog, customer directory, and connected Stripe account.

Multi-Brand Isolation

A single workspace owner can manage a design agency, a photography studio, and an advisory practice without mixing client records, bank payouts, or email identities.

Quickstart Lifecycle

1. Create your Workspace: Sign up via Clerk authentication and choose your plan (Free, Lifetime $50, or Annual).
2. Create your First Business Profile: Enter your business name, primary business timezone (e.g. America/New_York), and contact email.
3. Connect Staff Calendars: Authorize Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook 365 via OAuth to enable real-time free/busy synchronization.
4. Publish a Service: Define service duration (e.g. 45 min), eligible staff members, and whether bookings require manual approval.
5. Share your Booking Link: Test your public booking page or embed the widget on your website.

Configuring Custom DNS (CNAME Setup)

To use your own domain for client bookings (e.g. book.youragency.com):

1. Log in to your DNS provider (e.g. Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Route 53).
2. Add a new CNAME Record with the following settings:

3. In your Stylacal dashboard, navigate to Settings > Domains, enter your full subdomain (book.youragency.com), and click Verify DNS.
4. Stylacal will automatically provision an SSL certificate via Cloudflare Edge within 10–15 minutes.
